GENERAL PROVISIONS

These Terms and Conditions define the functionalities provided by the website and subscription, establish the conditions for purchasing a monthly subscription, using subscription benefits, attending lecturers’ practical and/or theoretical seminars, and receiving all necessary information for professional development.

The website is intended for learning, educational, and informational purposes in the fields of beauty, health, and cosmetology.

REGISTRATION AND USER ACCOUNT

Users must register by providing accurate and truthful personal information. To continue using the services of the website, users must provide the following personal data: full name, date of birth, phone number, and email address.
The client is fully responsible for the accuracy of the data and documents provided, as well as their compliance with these Terms and the laws of the Republic of Lithuania. If the client provides false confirmations, inaccurate data, or invalid documents, the service provider is not liable for any resulting consequences and has the right to claim damages from the client.

Users’ personal data are processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) – Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, repealing Directive 95/46/EC.

OWNERSHIP AND LIABILITY

All material on the website (texts, images, videos, learning resources) is protected by copyright and belongs to the owner of www.silicioakademija.lt/en Any copying, distribution, or use for commercial purposes without permission is strictly prohibited, in accordance with Law No. IX-1355 of 5 March 2003.

The website is not liable for content published by users, knowledge acquired during training, or its application in practice. Users are responsible for their own actions.

The website provides information for educational purposes only and is not intended to provide medical consultations or services. All advice and information presented on the website must be evaluated critically and used solely at the user’s own risk.

USER OBLIGATIONS AND RIGHTS, DATA PROTECTION

WWW.SILICIOAKADEMIJA.LT/EN collects and processes personal data solely for the purpose of providing services. All data are stored and processed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Lithuania and the requirements of the GDPR.

The website uses cookies to improve user experience and to analyze website usage.

The user is informed and agrees that the service provider may collect and process their personal data (name, surname/company name, phone number, email address) for direct marketing purposes. Personal data for direct marketing is processed only in accordance with these Terms and with the client’s consent.

Consent means that the client agrees that the service provider may use the data to prepare and send special offers, advertisements, and other information related to the provider’s activities.

The client has the right to withdraw their consent for the processing of personal data for direct marketing purposes at any time by submitting a request to the service provider, in accordance with the procedures set out in the Privacy Policy.

The client has the right to access their personal data, amend or update it at any time, request its correction, deletion, or restriction of processing, as well as exercise other rights provided under the GDPR. To exercise these rights, the client must submit a written request to the service provider, following the procedures set out in the Privacy Policy.

The service provider undertakes to maintain confidentiality in all mutual relations and not to disclose personal information to third parties, except as required by the laws of the Republic of Lithuania.

SUBSCRIPTION TERMINATION

To cancel a “Silicon Academy” subscription, the customer must contact us at least 3 (three) business days before the next subscription renewal payment.

To terminate a Silicon Academy subscription, the client must contact us at least three (3) business days before the next subscription renewal date.

If the client cancels the subscription later than three (3) business days before the monthly renewal date and/or after the payment has already been processed, the fee for the current month is non-refundable.

Once the subscription is terminated, all fees already paid are non-refundable. In accordance with Lithuanian law, a client who has received and paid for services cannot withdraw from such a contract. The client may terminate the subscription only for future periods.

After cancellation, the client will continue to have access to all Silicon Academy services and seminars until the end of the current subscription period.

USE OF THE WEBSITE

The client chooses to purchase a subscription.

In the payment form, the client provides their email address and selects one of the following payment methods:

Payment by card – when this option is chosen, the client must enter their card number and expiration date. The subscription fee will be automatically charged on the same day of each month as the first payment.

Payment via PayPal – when this option is chosen, the client provides their PayPal email address, and the payment is processed in accordance with PayPal rules.

The service provider reserves the right to terminate the client’s subscription if the automatic payment collection fails once.

AMENDMENTS AND VALIDITY OF THE TERMS

The website reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time, with prior notice to users.

The client may use the subscription only after reviewing the Privacy Policy and agreeing to these Terms of Use.
